MeghaOS

An AI-powered desktop environment where the interface itself is generated by an LLM at runtime.

MeghaOS is an AI-native desktop environment. Instead of shipping a fixed set of windows and menus, MeghaOS asks a large language model to design the interface on the fly in response to what you ask for. You type a request; the system decides what data to gather, generates a description of a UI, and renders it into live, interactive widgets โ€” charts, gauges, timers, dashboards, games, and more.

Megha (เคฎเฅ‡เค˜) means cloud in Sanskrit โ€” an interface that forms itself around you.

The big idea

Traditional apps are coded. MeghaOS interfaces are composed. The AI emits a UI description (a schema we call A2UI โ€” Agent-to-UI), and MeghaOS turns that schema into widgets at runtime โ€” no rebuild, no redeploy.

Editions

MeghaOS ships in three editions so you can run it the way that fits you:

The Desktop Environment and Operating System editions share the same feature set. The macOS app brings MeghaOS's AI experience to the Mac with its own native integrations. See Editions & Platforms for the full feature matrix and what differs between macOS and Linux.

How it works

MeghaOS has two halves that work together:

What can it do?

MeghaOS includes hundreds of built-in capabilities and 70+ widgets out of the box โ€” email, calendar, files, office documents, finance models, messaging, system control, computer automation, and more. The feature guides walk through each area:
